Wishlist Plus offers built-in support for English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. If additional languages or more advanced translation customizations are required, users may need to make changes at the Shopify Admin level.
Additionally, some strings, such as "View Product" and "View All" buttons, cannot be translated via the app or theme editor due to Shopify's restrictions on localizing certain strings in the New Customer Accounts experience. Code changes to modify these strings are also not supported unless you use a third-party accounts app.
If you need to translate the UI into a language not on this list, or need to make changes to the existing text, you can use the multi-language support dashboard:
Navigate to Configurations page and click on “Multi Language Support” under the Settings section
Select the desired language for translation.
For new installations: Select the option titled Wishlist UI (beta).
For older (legacy) installations: Remain on the tab titled Wishlist (Legacy).

Additional Translation Management### Changing the Wishlist Page Title via the App Settings If your Wishlist page title is managed by the app, you can update it directly through the app’s settings:
Open the Wishlist Plus Dashboard.
Navigate to Configurations > Ways to Access & Share Wishlist > Wishlist Page > Settings > Appearance.
Edit the page title under the "Edit Page Title" section.
Save the changes to apply them to your storefront.
If the Wishlist title on your storefront doesn’t update after modifying the app’s multilingual settings, the title may be controlled by your Shopify theme. To update it:
Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Pages.
Locate the “Wishlist” page.
Rename the page title to your desired text (e.g., a title in your preferred language).
Save the changes and preview your storefront to confirm the update. Additionally, you can use Shopify’s multi-language support to edit translatable strings for the Swym app:
Go to Shopify Admin > Languages/Translation Settings.
Locate the Swym app’s translatable strings (e.g., “Guest Shopper Title”).
Edit the translations and save.
