Overview
The Swym + Shopify Flow integration enables you to create automated workflows based on specific actions that users have performed on your store. Workflows are built in Shopify Flow using three core concepts:
Triggers – Events on your store that invoke the workflow
Conditions – Rules that define when a workflow should run
Actions – Tasks to be performed as part of the workflow
Pre-requisites
Shopify Flow app installed on your Shopify account
Swym Wishlist Plus app installed, on a Pro plan or above
How to Set It Up
Go to Shopify Flow
Click Create Workflow
Select the Wishlist Plus app and choose your desired trigger
Alternatively, browse published templates or use Sidekick to describe what you'd like to build in natural language. You can also refer to our Playbook for inspiration.
Important Notes
When you set up a workflow using a Swym trigger, the Shopify Flow integration is automatically installed for your store — you do not need to install it separately from within Wishlist Plus.
The corresponding triggers will be enabled automatically. Do not turn these off, as doing so will prevent events from being sent to Shopify Flow and your workflows will not function as expected.
Available triggers and actions depend on your Wishlist Plus plan. Not all triggers and actions are available on the free plan.
Do not use triggers prefixed with [Legacy] — these will be deprecated soon.
Supported Triggers
Item added to wishlist: Triggers when an item is added to a shopper's wishlist
Item removed from wishlist: Triggers when an item is removed from a shopper's wishlist
Wishlisted item price dropped: Triggers when the price of a wishlisted item drops beyond the configured threshold
Wishlisted item back in stock: Triggers when a wishlisted item becomes available again after being out of stock
Wishlisted item low in stock: Triggers when inventory for a wishlisted item falls below the configured low stock threshold
Wishlist Reminder: Triggers when a wishlist reminder is sent to a shopper
Save for Later Reminder: Triggers when a Save For Later reminder is sent to a shopper
For all of these triggers, Swym sends both the Shopify product reference and the customer reference, giving you full product and customer details to customize your workflows.
