This playbook provides a comprehensive guide to setting up, customizing, and strategically using the integration between Swym Wishlist Plus and the Design Packs app.
The goal is to transform our standard Shopify wishlist into a beautiful, high-converting, and brand-aligned experience without needing custom development. This integration works by using Swym as the powerful backend "engine" to manage all wishlist data, while Design Packs provides the custom "bodywork" for a stunning front-end design that we control completely.
Pre-flight Checklist
Ensure you have the following before you begin the setup process:
An active Shopify Store account with admin access.
The Swym Wishlist Plus app is installed and setup
The Design Packs app is installed and you have an active subscription.

Step 2: Add and Customize the Design Packs Section
With your new Design Packs Wishlist template selected, click + Add section in the left-hand panel.
Select the "Wishlist Plus Section" from the list of available apps.
Click on the newly added section to open its settings. This is where you will do all your customization (refer to the Customization Guide below).
Step 3: Assign the New Template
In your Shopify Admin, navigate to Pages.
Find and open your main Wishlist page (usually named "Wishlist" or "My Wishlist").
On the right-hand side, find the Theme template box.
Change the template from default page to your new Design Packs Wishlist template.

FAQ & Troubleshooting
My wishlist page is still showing the old Swym design.
Double-check that you have correctly assigned the new Design Packs Wishlist template to your main wishlist page in the Shopify Pages admin (Step 4).
The "Add to Wishlist" button isn't showing up on product pages.
This is controlled by the core Swym app, not Design Packs. Check your settings in the Swym app dashboard to ensure it is configured correctly.
