Klaviyo has deprecated several older APIs that our legacy Klaviyo integration relies on. Because of this, merchants using the older integration may start experiencing issues.
To ensure uninterrupted messaging and continued access to new features, we strongly recommend migrating to our latest Klaviyo integration.
Why switch to the new Klaviyo integration?
Our new integration is built using OAuth, Klaviyo’s recommended authentication method. This provides:
Stronger security with safer authentication
Improved reliability and better rate limits
A setup aligned with Klaviyo’s best practices
Important deadline: Feb 5, 2026
We will be phasing out the older Klaviyo integration on Feb 5, 2026.
If you are still using the legacy integration after this date:
Swym apps (Wishlist Plus and/or Swym Back in Stock Alerts) will stop sending events to your Klaviyo account
Your Swym x Klaviyo email and SMS flows (like Wishlist Reminder/Back In Stock/Price Drop/Low Stock and others) will no longer trigger
Migration is required to avoid any disruption. The good news? Migration takes less than 2 minutes.
How to migrate to the latest Klaviyo integration
You can migrate using either of the methods below:
Option 1: Migrate from Shopify Admin
Open your Shopify Admin
Go to the Wishlist Plus app
Navigate to Integrations
Click Connect under the Klaviyo tile
Accept the permissions on the Klaviyo authorization page
You’ll be redirected back to Shopify Admin — and you’re done!
Option 2: Migrate from Swym Admin
(Use this option if you use Swym Back in Stock Alerts or have access to Swym Admin)
Log in to Swym Admin
Go to Integrations
Click Configure on the Klaviyo tile
Click Install and accept the permissions on the Klaviyo authorization page
You’ll be redirected back to Swym Admin — and you’re done!
Final check (recommended)
Once connected, we recommend sending a few test triggers to confirm:
Your Klaviyo flows are firing correctly
Emails and/or SMS messages are being sent as expected
You can send test triggers from Shopify Admin or Swym Admin. Refer to the screenshots below for guidance.

FAQs
1. Do I need to update my Klaviyo flows or email/SMS templates?
No changes are required. We’ve ensured that:
Event names remain the same
Event properties remain unchanged
Your existing flows and templates should continue to work. That said, we strongly recommend sending a few test triggers to verify everything is working as expected.
2. What happens if I don’t migrate by Feb 5, 2026?
After Feb 5, 2026:
The legacy integration will be fully deprecated
Swym will stop sending events to your Klaviyo account
Your Klaviyo flows will no longer trigger
To avoid disruption, please migrate before the deadline.
