Set up Shopify Flow Triggers for Swym Gift Lists and Registries

The Shopify Flow integration allows you to expand your workflows to set up alerts and perform actions based on triggers provided by Swym Gift Lists and Registries

  1. Install Shopify Flow App from Shopify: https://apps.shopify.com/flow

  2. Go to Shopify flow under your apps and click on Create Workflow

  3. Next, click on Select A Trigger

  4. You should see Swym Gift Lists and Registries App here, click on the same

  5. Depending on your use case, select the trigger. Swym Registry Created is triggered when a new registry is created on your shop. Order Trigger is generated when someone orders from a registry.

  6. Now, click on the + icon in the flow and add an appropriate action.
    Shopify Flow supports some internal actions as well - such as sending internal emails, adding customer tags, and integrating with other third-party apps.


  7. You can configure various variables for each trigger, which will be dynamically assigned from the list below. You can see these variables by clicking on Add a Variable

  8. Save this flow and test by creating a Registry.

  9. You can also integrate with other actions, such as 3rd Party ESPs like Klaviyo.

  10. From Select an Action, select the App you'd like to integrate with. Click on Track an Event and set up the required settings.

  11. Similar to internal triggers, you can add a variable from the given set of variables and set up a workflow for the choice of your trigger.

  12. Once this event is set, visit your Klaviyo account and add an email template of your choice for this event. For Klaviyo setup, follow: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014410811
