Shopify Flow Integration

Updated this week

This integration allows you to use Swym app events as Triggers in Shopify Flow, enabling you to create powerful, automated workflows across your store and other integrated apps.

Scope of Integration

The integration provides the following triggers for use in Shopify Flow:

  • From Wishlist Plus:

    • Added to Wishlist

    • Remove from Wishlist

    • Back in Stock

    • Low Stock

    • Price Drop

    • Validate Email Address

  • From Swym Back in Stock Alerts:

    • Back in Stock Subscription

    • Note: Older triggers like "Product added to Wishlist" are deprecated.

How It Works

When a user performs a supported action (e.g., adding an item to a wishlist), Swym sends a trigger to Shopify Flow. You can use this trigger to start a workflow, apply Conditions (e.g., ProductPrice is greater than $100), and execute Actions (e.g., send an internal email, add a tag to a customer).

Requirements

  • A Shopify store on the Basic, Advanced, or Plus plan with Shopify Flow installed.

  • Wishlist Plus and/or Back in Stock Alerts app on the Starter plan or higher.

  • Any apps required for the "Action" part of your workflow must also be installed.

Configuration Steps

  1. Install the Shopify Flow app from the Shopify App Store if you haven't already.

  2. In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps > Flow and click "Create Workflow".

  3. Click on "Select a trigger". In the right-side menu, find the Swym app trigger you want to use (e.g., "Added to Wishlist" from Wishlist Plus).

  4. (Optional) Add a Condition: Click the + icon and then "Condition". Define your rule using the available Swym data attributes (e.g., ProductTitle, ProductPrice, User's email address).

  5. Add an Action: Click the + icon and then "Action". Choose an action from Shopify's standard actions or from another integrated app.

  6. Configure the action, title your workflow, and turn it on.
