This will open the Configuration Panel. Make sure you’re on the Collections tab
Enable or disable wishlist on Collections from here and change the position of the wishlist icon.
Change icon style or color by going to the Basics tab, then click Save.
Complete onboarding and pick a plan to see Wishlist live in your store.
Understanding Collection Settings: Configuration Panel vs. App Embed
There are two different places where you can manage how Wishlist buttons appear on your Collection pages. Both methods are valid, and you can use either one based on your store’s setup needs or personal preference. Below is a breakdown of what each method controls and how they interact.
1. From the Wishlist Plus Configuration Panel under Features
Go to Wishlist Plus Configurations → Features - Help Shoppers Save Favorites → Collections. This toggle is used during onboarding or for quick changes.
2. From Collections Advanced App Embed in the Shopify Theme Editor
Enable the Collections Advanced app embed and customize button visuals—icon style, position, size, and color.
Important Notes:
✅ Wishlist buttons will appear if enabled in either location (App Embed or Configuration Settings).
✅ Collections Advanced App Embed takes priority over Configuration Settings.
✅ If both are enabled, the behavior and styling will follow the App Embed settings.
✅ If only Configuration Settings is enabled, buttons will display using the default configuration.
✅ If only the App Embed is enabled, buttons will appear based on the embed’s customizations.

FAQs
Q: I finished onboarding but don’t see the Wishlist icon on my collection pages. Why?
A: Make sure you saved changes in the Theme Editor and picked a plan. Also, verify if Wishlist is enabled in either App Embed or Manage Configuration.
Q: I see the Wishlist icon even after turning off the App Embed.
A: Wishlist might still be enabled in Manage Configuration → Collections. Check both places to fully control visibility.
Q: Can I use both the App Embed and Configuration panel together?
A: Yes, but App Embed settings will override configuration settings if both are active.
Q: Is this available to Free Plan users?
A: Yes! Wishlist on Collections and Variant Selector are fully available to merchants on the Free Plan.
Q: Do I need developer help to use this feature?
A: Not at all. Both onboarding and post-install settings can be managed without any code.
Q: What if enabling the Wishlist button on the collection tiles from the app embed does not show the Wishlist button?
A: This might suggest that you are using a custom theme, or a theme that isn't currently supported with our collections toggle from the App embed. In cases like this, you'll have to manually add the Wishlist button as mentioned in this help article. Regardless, before jumping to adding the Wishlist button code, please ensure you try enabling the Wishlist button on the collection tile from the App embed first.
