Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Wishlist action limit on the Free plan?

The Free plan has a limit of 500 wishlist actions. This is a lifetime limit and does not reset monthly.

What happens when I reach the 500 wishlist actions limit on the Free plan?

Once the 500 wishlist actions limit is reached on the Free plan, your account enters a 14-day grace period. During this time, wishlist functionality remains fully active, allowing unlimited actions so you can evaluate the app’s performance.

Three reminder emails are sent during the grace period:

  • On Day 7 of the grace period

  • On Day 13

  • On Day 14 (when the app is disabled if no upgrade has occurred)

After the 14-day grace period ends, the app is automatically disabled unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

What happens if I reach my quota limits?

When you approach your quota limits, we’ll notify you at 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% usage. Exceeding limits may restrict further actions until the next cycle or an upgrade is purchased. This means the app will be disabled and will not be usable on the storefront until an upgrade is made or the quota is reset.

What is included in 'Monthly Wishlist Actions'?

One Wishlist Action is counted each time a user adds an item to their wishlist on your store. This includes products added manually by the user as well as those added through the Smart Save feature.

Only Add to Wishlist actions are counted, not the total number of wishlisted items. If a user removes an item from their wishlist, it does not decrease the Wishlist Actions count.

The Wishlist Actions counter resets to zero at the beginning of each calendar month on paid plans.

Who is affected by the new pricing changes?

Only new customers or existing customers who choose to upgrade or downgrade their plans will be subject to the new pricing. Existing customers on current plans will not be affected unless they change their plan.

How is 'Wishlist Plus Storage/Lifetime actions' defined?

Wishlist Plus Storage refers to the total number of wishlist actions we can store for your account at any time. If you reach this capacity, the oldest data will be removed first. For higher storage options, you might consider reviewing our plan offerings to find one that better suits your needs.

Additionally, if you exceed lifetime actions quota for a plan, downgrading to a lower plan will be disabled.

Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan based on your current needs through your account settings. Upgrades will take effect immediately, while downgrades will be reflected in the next billing cycle.

How can I track my usage against my plan's quotas?

You can check the number of Wishlist actions made from the Insights page of your Shopify admin.

Your account dashboard provides real-time tracking of your usage against your plan’s quotas, helping you make informed decisions about potential upgrades. You can check it from the Insights page.

What qualifies as a 'Send'?

Sends encompass various types of outbound communications, including:

  1. Swym Mailer Emails: Emails dispatched directly from the Swym mailer.

  2. Event or Notification Sends: Swym sends events such as price drop alerts, low stock alerts, and back-in-stock alerts, to your Email Service Provider (ESP) or SMS service provider based on your settings. These events getting pushed to your ESP or SMS provider qualify as sends and will count towards your overall Send limit per month.
