My wishlist is not visible on the storefront. What should I do?
If you are unable to see the wishlist on your storefront, please check the following:
App Embed Disabled: The Wishlist app embed is not enabled on your Shopify theme.
Browser Cache: Your browser may be showing an older, saved version of your site from before the wishlist was active.
Icon Color: The colour of the wishlist icon is the same as, or very similar to, your site's background color or image background, making it invisible.
Cookie Consent: The necessary cookies may not have been accepted via your cookie consent banner, which prevents the app's scripts from loading (common for EU regions).
App Quota Reached: Your account may have exceeded the monthly usage limits for your current plan, temporarily disabling some features.
To Check the App Embed:
From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Online Stores.
Choose your preferred theme and click Customise.
In the theme editor, click App embeds.
Select the App Control Centre.
Enable the app's toggle switch.
Click Save to apply the changes.
To Clear the Browser Cache:
Perform a "hard refresh" in your browser to force it to load the latest version of your site. The shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+R (on Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (on Mac).
Alternatively, try viewing your store in a Private or Incognito window. If the wishlist appears there, it confirms a cache issue.
To Check the Wishlist Color:
From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Apps, and then select Wishlist Plus.
Go to the Features section.
Select Wishlist Button, and then click Settings.
Under the Basics section, please check/update the colour of the wishlist button.
Click Save to apply the changes.
To Check regarding the Cookie Consent:
Our app requires cookie consent to function correctly.
If you have a cookie banner on your site, please visit your storefront and click "Accept All" or the equivalent positive confirmation button.
If you do not have a cookie banner but need one for compliance, you can add Shopify's default customer privacy banner.
If you use a third-party cookie app, you may need to add our app's necessary cookies to its list of allowed scripts.

To Check the App Quota:
Navigate to the Apps section in your store's admin panel.
Open the Wishlist app.
Once inside the app, please look carefully for any messages or banners that might indicate a quota breach or usage limit.
If you see a notification that you've reached 100% of your allowed wishlist actions, this suggests that your current plan's limits have been met. Upgrading to a higher plan would then restore the wishlist functionality on the store.
The wishlist isn't appearing on my storefront, even though it works in the customizer. What should I do?
This is the expected behaviour for customers in regions like the EU or using cookie consent, where data privacy regulations require user consent. The Wishlist Plus application’s features will remain inactive on the storefront until a customer accepts the cookies. Our app is dependent on cookies to function, so the features are only displayed after consent is given.
To resolve this, you must ensure that a cookie banner is enabled on your store to gather the necessary consent. You have two options:
Shopify's Default Banner: If your store does not currently have a cookie banner, you can easily enable one from your Shopify admin settings.
Third-Party App: If you are using a third-party cookie consent app, it is crucial that you configure it to categorise the cookies required for the Swym (Wishlist Plus) application as necessary.

The wishlist icon or button is appearing in unexpected places, like randomly on the page, on the header while scrolling, or in the collection corner of the store. How can I fix these display issues?
To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:
From Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
Find your preferred theme and click the Customise button.
In the theme editor sidebar on the left, click the App embeds icon (it looks like a puzzle piece).
Please find the section named "Collections - Advanced" and click the small arrow next to it to expand the options.
You will see two fields that need to be filled in: "Product Tile Selector" and "Product Link Selector".
You can find these selectors by visiting one of your collection pages, right-clicking on a product tile, and choosing "Inspect." (For example, a common tile selector is .product-item).
Once you have entered the correct selectors, click the Save button in the top-right corner.
